Getting in the festive spirit with Bookatable

*This post is a paid collaboration with Bookatable

When I was back in Southampton this past weekend, I knew I wanted to get in the festive spirit by spending some quality time with my family and treating someone who has helped my blog grow with a festive meal.

Hitting the city centre and heading to one of my favourite restaurants; Cosmo, my Uncle and I sat down to enjoy their buffet with an added twist.

Cosmo have recently added festive treats to their traditional buffet, giving you the chance to add some festivities to your experience. I found out about the new additions thanks to Bookatable.

Join me and treat someone this festive period

You can now book your festive meals with family, friends or colleagues in a number of restaurants up and down the country via Bookatable,Β

Booking through the website is ever so simple. You have the option to choose an experience of your preference; under Β£30, festive afternoon tea and christmas day are all options on their site and at a number of our most loved restaurants.

When I saw the Cosmo as an option, the website detailed the additions to the menu, ensuring I found the right place to eat for me.

Saying hello to Cosmo once more

Cosmo is a favourite of mine. I’ve visited the restaurant for people’s birthdays, before and after trips to the cinema, and it was time to add the festive period to my dining experience.

Herbal Yorkshire Puddings, Pigs in Blanket and Turkey with Maple Syrup and Rosemary are just 3 items they’ve added to their lunch menu and there’s plenty more festive treats in the evening. Again, added to their already available number of cuisines, my love for the restaurant comes from the option to have a bit of everything.

Food, laughs and memories

It was the first time I’ve seen my Uncle since my move to Leicester, so the meal itself was only part of the experience. Sitting down and spending quality time together, meant we could have a catch-up on all things Leicester, work and how we’ve been since I departed Southampton in August.

Part of the reason for getting involved in this campaign was experiencing quality food with someone you care about. My blog wouldn’t be where it is now without my Uncle’s photography help, so treating him to the meal meant I was able to say a festive thank you, whilst stuffing ourselves at one of our favourite restaurants.

And another great part…

Dessert is included in the bill! Β£9.99 for unlimited buffet and dessert, it’s an unmissable feast to spend with your loved ones this Christmas.

Whether you’re eating 4 plates of food, enjoying the chocolate fountain, you’ll be sure there’s an experience waiting for you and a memory waiting to be created.

A massive thanks to Bookatable for getting me involved in their festive campaign and don’t forget to check out the options across the UK; giving you the chance to sit down, share a barrel of laughs and look forward to Santa coming to town.

You can view all your festive options here, and if you’d like to try Cosmo, you can book via this link.Β
