The next chapter in ‘The story of John Sennett’ journey

Friday, I took to the streets of London, ready to start a brand new chapter in my blog’s journey.

The new chapter sees me begin the early stages of transforming my blog into something new, fresh and personal. A new personal blog that’ll see me speak up more about the topics important to me, reigning in on my days talking about my Mum’s Cancer battle, my bullying and suicide story, and everything else personal.

I’m a personal blogger. I don’t fit into a niche, I just do me. I talk about my story. My life. I talk about the things that are important to me.

The story of John Sennett is my online space. My safe space. The space I feel I can be open and truly understand my emotions and what I’ve overcome.

This is missing!

My advice posts will take a slight step back. They’ll still be around, but I want to speak up more about what it’s like being a blogger. I want to speak up more about topics close to my heart that I feel need to be addressed. Yes, I’ll probably be controversial, but meet me in person, and you’ll definitely find this out for yourself.

A re-design is coming

Come January, there’ll be a new looking ‘The story of John Sennett’. A new design is needed. A design that reflects how I feel and where I’d like my blog to go.

It’s going to take time. I’m in no rush. I want to get it right. I want to make sure I’m happy with every aspect of my blog and the plans I’m creating behind the scenes.

Blogging is a marathon, not a sprint. Getting things right takes time and when they’re right, I’m going to want to push it even more.

I’m going big in January. I want to go all in.

For now…

Blog posts will be sporadic. If a post hasn’t isn’t uploaded for a while,Β  you’ll know I’m working behind the scenes on my next chapter. This next chapter is something I’ve wanted for a while, but needed to be 100% behind it and I am.

More than just a blog

‘The story of John Sennett’ will be a space where people will be inspired to open up about their stories. It’s like the good ol’ days.

I love inspiring others. Seeing and hearing people are inspired by my story, so they go out and share their story is exactly what I want. It reminds me of the times I absolutely loved the actions people were taking from my content.

I want to see discussions. I want to hear stories I want to be an influence. Not just an influence from my advice posts for bloggers.

I have loads more to offer from my blog. I have loads of stories yet to tell. There’s loads about me that you all still don’t know. I want to talk about them. I want to open up in every blog post, so every week, you get to know me more.

It’s going to be worth it

Even though I can’t guarantee when posts will be going up, I can guarantee it’ll all be worth it. I wouldn’t make this move if I didn’t think it’ll take my blog, my story and impact to another level.

Here’s to the future of ‘The story of John Sennett’…

  1. Honestly, it’s my first time visiting your blog but I had been engaged with your tweets which are really helpful for bloggers like me. I love how your goal is to bring back blogging to the good old days. Blogging in the past is really more personal. And truly, it’s more important to get things right first. Well, for our brand, we made sure it is clearly defined first before we launched it πŸ™‚ Anyway, looking forward to your rebranding.

  4. Can’t wait to see more and the new design. Whatever you have in store I know it will be great I can see your passion from just reading this post. I want my passion to be back like this. And this is also my aim for my blog too. I do t stick to one niche to be honest I find it boring.
