I can do this!

Things are happening very quick at the moment. I’m set to start swimming lessons very soon (I’m actually excited to conquer my fear), meetings are being booked in to talk all things world records and challenges, and parcels are being received for various ideas. I’m also about to start preparing my first fundraising page and a speech I’m giving in December.

I’ve got this! I’m ready for this! I feared I wouldn’t have the strength to, but I do! I have the strength to make my goals reality, and when things are happening all at once, I work at my best.

I love being busy, and being able to plan multiple things at once. My mind deals with the pressure. When one idea comes to mind, shortly after another one pops up, and at times, they link. This is how I’m making 2018 happen. I’m looking at each idea to see any correlation with another and there is. I’m able to turn to people I know, ask for help and also offer something in return. I’m a collaborator and 2018 is showcasing this.

I love working with other people. I love teaming up with them and collectively creating something with purpose. Every decision has purpose, even if it’s scrapped, and I’m learning to accept it. I’m learning to let go of ideas if they’re out of reach, because with minimal time between challenges, I’m prioritising what I want to do, how I want to do it, and the ideas I believe will raise the most money. More money raised, more people helped.

Knowing the end goal is to impact society, my plans are always aimed beyond that. How do I lift 100,000kg in a workout? Do I do it alone or with others? Will people join in and motivate me to push through the pain or will they stand and support?

I might have just revealed another challenge (more details coming next month), but the thought of success doesn’t rely on raising £100,000, it relies on what happens after. Are people motivated/inspired by my challenges? Do people want to share their story?

The greater impact will only happen if I actually do what I say I’m going to do. I know I can raise £100,000. I know I can inspire more people to open up about their life experiences. I know I can take on each challenge, and raise awareness of various life struggles.

I KNOW I CAN DO THIS!! I KNOW I’M READY TO CHANGE MY LIFE!! I KNOW I’M READY TO IMPACT SOCIETY!! I KNOW I WON’T BE DOING THIS ALONE!!

I KNOW 2018 IS MY YEAR!!
